Te tehnologije ne uporablja le Bridgestone, temve\u010d tudi sestrska blagovna znamka Firestone. Prej\u0161nja generacija je na testih dosegla razmeroma dobre rezultate, \u010deprav se je na nekaterih od njih uvrstila tudi dale\u010d navzdol na lestvici. Tem testom je bilo skupno to, da so merili tudi vozne lastnosti na ledu, kar ni povsem standardno. In prav na ledu je imela prej\u0161nja generacija te\u017eave. Skoraj vsi testi so omenili odli\u010dno vodljivost na mokrih cestah, visoko odpornost proti akvaplaningu in kratko zavorno pot na mokrih povr\u0161inah. Pogosto so bili pohvaljeni tudi vodljivost na suhi cesti, majhen kotalni upor in visoko udobje. Poleg omenjene zmogljivosti na ledu pa sta bili kot slabosti pogosto omenjeni dalj\u0161a zavorna pot na suhi povr\u0161ini in kratka \u017eivljenjska doba. Te te\u017eave ne bi smele biti ve\u010d te\u017eava, saj se nova razli\u010dica pona\u0161a s 30 % dalj\u0161o \u017eivljenjsko dobo.
